More Contests! Auntie Meme!

OK, I received this on a tip-off from Mommymatic: here are your instructions, per her blog today:

"Ok, now, the deal is this: The person who's been memed thinks of 3-5 movies that make them weep. Like really weep. Then that person goes to Google images and finds a pic from the movie that doesn't totally give it away, and paste the image into his/her blog. Then, the memed one highlights the pic and creates a link to the movie's IMDB page (that way, if someone doesn't know what movie the pic is from, they can click on the picture and it'll take them to IMDB so they can find out!).

The final step is that the memed becomes the memer. If you get tagged here, pick some folks and meme them, too!"

So, Ginapalooza and The Wendy Lady you've been memed! Of course, regular blog-o-readers are welcome to participate!

Links to the IMDB site are above the movie clip pics, not on the pics themselves. We're a bit slow in the Technology Department at Lisaopolis today. Send more single shots, no milk! I know the pics are small, so look with BOTH eyes.

Also: realize that I get misty at "Coat of Many Colors" by Dolly Parton, episodes of "A Baby Story" on TLC, Hallmark commericals, and the Olympic Games when the underdog pulls through and makes winning a bronze medal look like pure gold. Here are a few flicks which guarantee that I will WEEP somethin' awful.

(1) Life isn't like in the movies. Life is...much harder."

(2) "I felt myself becoming ordinary."

(3) "You're not dead yet so stop living as if you are!"

(4) "It's supposed to be hard. If it weren't hard everyone would do it."

(5) A: "I hate my life." B: "I hate your life too." This is a movie I have only seen once and I will never see it again. It is also #1 on my list of 'scariest movies I have ever seen" because its portrayal of the bowels of human hatred brought on tears of rage. Superb directing and acting. But devastating as hell.

Dude, you gotta go back and do the links to imdb again, because I didn't get them all...I think one is A League of Their Own and one is Beaches, but I don't know the others right off!!

Thanks for doing this! Yay Auntie Meme!

I've seen 4 of those, but was only able to figure out 2 of them! Nice!
The whole picture thing still baffles me, so I went with quotes, let me know how you do! :)

Awesome choice, Lisa. I figured out 3, 4, 5. You're right. Boys Don't Cry is super scary. I bawled like a baby. In fact, that was one of the first movies Shannon and I rented together. Yowza. How's that for first-ish date stuff? Gave us a lot to talk about. In fact, we STILL talk about it!
