OK, so I'm watching my first-ever episode of Grey's Anatomy and so far so good, except that all the Seattle scenes, including but not limited to: the very PacNW motifs of coffee, Tlingit-inspired art on most of the hospital walls, and shots driving over Lake Washington, are making me very homesick and I can't TAKE IT!

Yay, you're finally giving Grey's Anatomy a shot! Too bad last night was a re-run though, not that it matters since you haven't been watching it. hehe. Wanna borrow Season 1 on DVD? It's only 9 glorious episodes and it's more addicting than crack (I imagine)

yea i finally checked it out. it was ok. not something i need to ritually watch...
i noticed subtle weird sound effects and background music. at first i thought i was stoned, but i wasn't.
i heard this is a new trend with network tv? thoughts????
Yeah I noticed the music issues as well--this may be a new trend, most likely featuring artists whose record labels are owned by the same folks who own the network it's all played on...
